Woman pets lion in viral video. Internet is really very angry – India Today

By Srimoyee Chowdhury: While there are plenty of videos that showcase people trying to preserve harmony between nature and humans, there are videos that show the complete opposite as well. One such video of a woman petting a chained lion left netizens fuming.
Shared on Instagram, the clip shows the woman dressed in an ethnic suit and standing dangerously close to a lion. The animal can be seen chained in front of a cage as the woman proceeds to pet him. A lioness can also be seen sitting beside the lion as two more animals roam in the cage behind.

The clip has garnered tons of views and several angry comments from netizens. While some pointed out how chaining the lion was totally barbaric, others shared their annoyance towards the woman’s behaviour.
