Welsh dog nutrition company partners with pet insurance provider – Pet Food Processing

KIDWELLY, WALES — Burns Pet Nutrition, a pet food company, partnered with Admiral, a financial services company, to help launch Admiral Pet Insurance. As part of the collaboration, Admiral Pet Insurance will offer its customers discount codes on Burns’ pet food products.
According to Burns Pet Nutrition, the first few months of feeding for new pet owners is critical to ensure dogs receive the correct amount of nutrients within their diet. The strategic partnership between the two Welsh companies will strive to encourage responsible dog ownership through insurance and nutrition to help keep pets healthy.
“As Burns continues to grow, we’re thrilled to be supporting the launch of this new pet insurance brand and partnering with them in what we hope will be the start of a fruitful relationship,” said John Burns, founder of Burns Pet Nutrition. “We’re keen to ensure new pet owners are cared for as they bring a new family member into their home and we look forward to introducing them to our natural, healthy and hypoallergenic pet food options.”
As part of the collaboration, Burns will send out a kit of pet food products, including its Original Dry and Wet Food, a bag of treats, a measuring cup, a puppy guide, a Burns bandana and a discount code sign-up, to the first 1,000 Admiral Pet Insurance customers.
