Martina Navratilova, the legendary Czech-American tennis player, recently shocked the tennis world after she shared the news about her cancer diagnosis. However, that doesn’t seem to have affected the ever-optimistic Navratilova, as her friend recently uploaded a reel about a party on their social media profile.

Her friends and family were all present to support the tennis veteran. Fans will be happy to see Navratilova healthy and happy despite her cancer scare. The couple looked picture-perfect as they enjoyed themselves with their friends at a restaurant.

According to CNN, Navratilova has been detected with stage one breast cancer as well as throat cancer. This surprised many of her ardent fans as the 59-time Grand Slam champion successfully overcame breast cancer, back in 2010. The most recent prognosis has given her the best chance of overcoming the deadly disease, and it is reported that she will begin the necessary treatment this month.
In a recent Instagram reel, uploaded by her friend, she is even enjoying and spending quality time with her family, and pet dog.

Navratilova has been a long-time supporter of cancer research. It is heartening to see how she has embraced her new lifestyle changes, including healthier eating habits, regular exercise, and positive thoughts, as well as sharing them with others via social media.
One of Navratilova’s biggest rivals on the court and dear friends off of it, Chris Evert, tweeted that she would be there to support her friend throughout her battle. She also mentioned how Navratilova extended her support during her battle with ovarian cancer last year.
Evert tweeted, “This is a woman who takes on challenges with strength and resilience… You got this, Martina!♥”

Navratilova, who was scheduled to serve as a TV pundit at the Australian Open, has canceled her trip. She will participate in Tennis Channel broadcasts remotely from her Miami home. Navratilova thanked her friends and supporters and she emphasized that she is “not done yet.”
