Tri-city fire that destroyed three homes deemed suspicious, pet dies – Fort McMurray Today
A fire that destroyed three homes in the Tri-city neighbourhood was deemed suspicious by a fire investigator.
On Sept. 2, Cold Lake RCMP received a report of a structure fire at 3 p.m. in the residential area of 45 Street and 65th Avenue.
When the police arrived they found three houses on fire that were extinguished by the local fire departments.
Several other residences were damaged by heat, smoke and water.
There were no physical injuries to any of the residents; however, a household pet died as a result of the fire.
The Cold Lake RCMP, along with the fire investigator, continue to investigate.
Cold Lake RCMP are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the detachment at 780-594-3301.
They are also requesting anyone with dash camera footage or doorbell camera footage not already provided to RCMP in the area of 45 street and 65 venue between 2:30 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. to contact them.
