When this animal rescue spotted a puppy tied to a kennel outside in 113-degree weather, they knew they couldn’t just leave her there. With no access to food, water, or air conditioning, the poor girl was in obvious distress. She was panting and shaking and not being properly cared for.

After finding her owner, it didn’t take much convincing for him to let them have her and take her own. He agreed to let them take her “as long as they took good care of her.”

Back at the animal shelter, they cleaned her up and gave her a refreshing and much-needed bath. After being neglected, she appreciated all of the cuddles and attention she was receiving!
“I can’t believe she lived outside in 113 degrees,” said her rescuers.

Thanks to the amazing work of Sky Sanctuary Rescue, this pup will never be left out in the heat again. The rescue is currently looking for her loving forever home!
