Name: Carrie
Breed: Boston Terrier
Age: 7

Kids: 10+

House Trained: Working on it — Carrie goes to the bathroom outside but will occasionally have accidents inside.
Other training: Carrie is a great listener and aims to please. As she spent her life stuck in a cage, her family must dedicate time to her training and socialization.
Personality: It is easy for Carrie to become the center of attention with her adorable looks and sweet personality. She is a fun-loving girl and gets along with everyone. In typical Boston fashion, she loves her toys and especially fetching with her ball. Her favorite time of day is sitting on the couch with you and her ball while getting belly rubs. Carrie loves to eat and get her treats. She’s definitely an attention seeker and wants to be in the action.
Why he/she was brought to the rescue: Carrie’s “breeders” were done using her over and over again to produce puppies and she was set to be euthanized. WISE wasn’t going to let that happen and took her in at the rescue.

Personality: Uno is the biggest, mushiest cuddle bug ever. He prefers to spend his days (and nights) snuggling with his favorite people. He loves to play and snuggle with other animals, once properly adapted, and is a huge sweetheart.
Why he/she was brought to the rescue: Uno was abandoned by his former family in Georgia. When a neighbor saw him wandering in her yard, she called Animal Control and informed them she thought it was her neighbor’s dog. Upon follow-up, the neighbors confirmed it was their dog, but they never reclaimed him or answered the phone again. Waldo’s Rescue Pen brought him up to Manhattan to save him from being euthanized.
