Serge the fashion dog is probably Aoteroa's best dressed pooch – Stuff
Five-year-old fox terrier x pinscher, Serge Planqueel, was born in Whanganui. He moved to South Auckland with his parents, Karen Inderbitzen-Waller and Delphine Planqueel when he was a puppy.
As the son of fashion and photography creatives, it is no surprise he developed an early interest in clothes.
He loves to dress up, which has led to part-time work as a model and influencer. He definitely values function over fashion however – his favourite pieces are a raincoat and cozy hooded pyjamas.
When he’s not supervising photo shoots, Serge loves to relax at home and float in the pool atop his inflatable surfboard. He’s also a big fan of the local park, and his usual walking route.

1. This custom embroidered velvet scarf collar is from a town called Rocamadour in the South of France.
2. This vest was a gift from my French grandma, Manuelle. It’s a handmade sheepskin trimmed vest from the South of France, the ultimate in cozy.
3. My all-time favourite leopard pyjama hoodie, with mouse ears. I wear it during cold winters by the fire (my short hair means that I feel the cold).
4. My favourite jacket for rainy walks. I detest the rain (like a cat). It has a little hood inside the collar which gets used in a downpour.
5. My All Blacks supporter jersey. I wear it for luck when the AB’s play.
Mr Soft Top custom sweater, $80
Mr Soft Top is my favourite local brand. They cater for my unusual fit (I’m longer in the body). This hand knit jumper is custom-made and on the wish list for the upcoming winter to keep warm.
Prada nylon dog harness, $1160
I love a backpack and this one, besides being a functional harness, also has room for treats and a ball. I love Prada too, and this matches my Mama Delphine’s handbag. I might need to do some more modelling to pay for it.
Prada nylon pet leash, $915
To complete the full Prada look there’s the matching lead, with a pouch for my eco dog waste bags. Ready for the park or Ponsonby.
