Scenthound, a membership-based, wellness-focused dog grooming franchise, opened its first Houston location in the Meyerland area. Shelly and Marc Spieler and Matt Woolsey of Houston-based Texas Brand Builders opened a location at 4850 Beechnut in Meyerland Court as the first of three planned stores. A second location will follow in the River Oaks area at 2621 S. Shepherd by the end of 2022. Scenthound, with memberships starting at $35 per month, focuses on the five core areas of maintenance: skin, coat, ears, nails and teeth.
Reformation, a sustainable fashion brand that started in Los Angeles in 2009, opened its first Houston store and fifth in Texas at Montrose Collective, a project of Radom Capital near Westheimer and Montrose Boulevard. The collection includes the brand’s signature dresses and tops, skirts, shorts, mini dresses and sleeveless tops, denim items and eco-friendly Ref Shoes. The store incorporates natural and recyclable materials, including vintage furniture, eco-friendly fabrics and reusable totes. Customers can recycle used Reformation products such as shoes, jeans, sweaters and active-wear on site through RefRecycling to receive credit for future purchases.
Marc Jacobs, the New York-based fashion designer selling men’s and women’s shoes, handbags, accessories, fragrances and clothing, will open its first full-line location in Texas. The 3,094-square-foot store will open in late summer in the Galleria, a mall of Simon Property Group at Westheimer and Post Oak Boulevard. The boutique will be on level 1, near the Galleria Financial Center next to Tag Heuer and Nespresso.

Common Bond Bistro & Bakery opened its seventh area Common Bond On-The-Go location. The Houston-based restaurant leased the former Beans Café space at 1127 Eldridge Parkway in the Energy Corridor. The grab ‘n go style drive-thru offers a full coffee menu, cookies, pastries, croissants, salads and sandwiches. Edward Heap of SRS Real Estate Partners represented Common Bond. Courtney Lavender represented the landlord, Vista, internally.
L3 Craft Coffee leased 1,800 square feet at the Cross Creek Retail Center at 28830 FM 1093 in Fulshear. Jason Smith of Archway Advisors represented the tenant. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
X Label Apparel, a women’s boutique, leased 1,004 square feet in the Kings Harbor Shopping Center at 4501 Magnolia Cove in Kingwood. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Salad and Go, a drive-thru fast-food chain selling healthy meals to go, signed a ground lease for a new location in the South Shore Harbour community at the northwest corner of League City Parkway and South Shore Boulevard in League City. Traci Holman of Baker Katz represented the tenant. Kristen Barker of Wulfe & Co. represented the landlord.
Premier Q Massage leased 1,400 square feet at Cypress Square at 11041-11185 Huffmeister Road in Cypress. Jason Gibbons of Finial Group represented the tenant. Frankie English of Texas CRES represented the landlord.
Joy Dentistry leased a 2,000-square-foot retail space at the Ralston Retail Center off Beltway 8 and John Ralston Road in Humble. Neha Abassi of Friedman Real Estate represented the tenant.
UrgentVet leased 2,646 square feet at 3335 College Park Drive in The Woodlands. Chase Tucker and Jack Gaffney of Finial Group represented the landlord Chris Burns and Lindsay Stafford with JLL represented the tenant.
