Ren's Pets to Carry Premium Pet Food Brand Vetdiet – PetProductNews.com
Ren’s Pets, a Canadian specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, will carry super-premium pet food brand Vetdiet in stores starting in April. The Vetdiet assortment will include both dry and wet dog and cat food, along with Vetdiet treats in varieties such as dental, training and freeze-dried.
“Ren’s has always been at the front of the pack in bringing innovation and high-quality to pet parents for the diet of their pets,” said Scott Arsenault, CEO at Ren’s Pets. “We’re so excited to add Vetdiet to our incredible selection of premium brands we already carry in our stores. We think that it will complement the strong assortment of food and treats we currently have and be a great addition for our customers.
“We love that Vetdiet combines science and nature, and has a nutritional philosophy that feeding the right food to your pet can make all the difference,” Arsenault added. “We’ll be carrying the Wellness line of Vetdiet pet food, designed to meet specific nutritional needs of your pet throughout their life, along with the Care line that is designed to deliver a specific health benefit for your pet. With Vetdiet, pet parents know they will be getting super-premium ingredients, backed by health and nutrition experts, for food for your Pet’s Best Life.”
Vetdiet pet food and treats will be available in store at all 38 Ren’s locations in Ontario and the Maritimes, plus will be available to order online to ship to home across Canada. It is currently carried in Mondou stores in Quebec, along with select stores in the U.S.
Vetdiet is owned by the Legault Group, which also owns both Ren’s Pets and Mondou pet retail stores.
“From the beginning with Vetdiet, we work closely with experts in animal nutrition to develop the best products for the health and well-being of animals,” said Marie-France Dumont, brand director for Legault Group. “We make sure to always select high-quality ingredients that provide real benefit to the animals we consider to be family members. We are proud to be a Canadian family-owned company that has been in business for decades and privilege of feeding all the Mira Foundation dogs since 2015.”
