Pooch and Mutt partners with Woodgreen Pets Charity – Pet Gazette
Pooch and Mutt and Woodgreen Pets Charity have launched a new partnership that will see the dog wellness brand donate enough food each month to feed around 80% of dogs in the charity’s care.
In addition, Pooch and Mutt has donated sample pouches and discount vouchers for everyone who rehomes a dog from Woodgreen.
Every year, Woodgreen rehabilitates and finds new homes for around 700 dogs from its 43-acre centre in Cambridgeshire. Around 20 stray dogs l arrive at Woodgreen’s doors every month, often requiring life-saving treatment, though the charity also takes in dogs from owners who can no longer care for them.
Pooch and Mutt said its mission is to “help dog owners make healthier choices for their dogs so they can live their best lives”. The manufacturer produces an enhanced range of natural meals, treats and supplements, which reportedly boost different functions including calming, digestion, weight loss and joint care. They create ranges to suit dogs of all breeds, sizes and needs.
Cat Harrison, senior affiliate manager at Pooch and Mutt, said: “We’re honoured to support Woodgreen with the specialist care they offer hundreds of dogs each year. Just like them, we’re all about what’s best for pets, people and the planet.
“It’s great to know their dogs will be receiving the best nutrition through a Pooch and Mutt diet and that new owners will get expert advice from Woodgreen to help them on their journey with their canine companion. We look forward to supporting the charity and the dogs in their care in every way we can.”
