Pet of the Week: Sunshine is a Pitty mix and available from Heartland – South Bend Tribune

This pretty 1 year old Pitty mix is Sunshine. She was adopted as a puppy and recently returned to Heartland Small Animal Rescue through no fault of her own. Sunshine enjoys the company of other dogs and will play all day long. When the weather gets hot, she loves to jump into a kiddie pool to cool off. We are not requiring a fenced yard, but Sunshine has been known to scale a four-foot fence, so outdoor supervision is always a good idea. Sunshine is not partial to felines, so a home without cats is required. Like her name, Sunshine is a very nice girl and will make a wonderful addition to any family.
