When @rockykanakaofficial’s vet called him and said that someone brought in a dog named Tulip and wanted to put her down, he knew that they couldn’t let that happen. The poor dog was only between 3 and 6 years old, which is very young. The pup had some health issues and would need surgery, but there was no reason that this poor dog should be put down. Although it is hard financially for a lot of people, there are many other options than just killing the dog when their medical bills are too high. @rockykanakaofficial knew he had to figure something out to help Tulip.

Tulip needed surgeries and lots of therapy for her hurt leg. She also needed to lose some weight before her surgeries so they got started on that right away.
Reply to @jerseygirlsjk thank you and all of uou who were so supportive! Its not going to be a cheap surgery but will be worth it! 💪❤️

We are sure that Tulip is so grateful to her rescuers for helping her and giving her a second chance at life!
With an estimated 7.6 million animals entering America’s shelters every year, fostering is important because it helps reduce overcrowding in shelters and opens up space for other animals to be saved. It also helps prepare animals for adoption by giving them a chance to live in a home where they can fully express their personality, work to overcome fears, or recover from trauma.
Having foster animals around is hard work, but it is so rewarding and very fun! It is something that will keep you up at night and steal time out of your day. But you won’t regret a second of it! As a foster parent, you will be loving, raising, and caring for the kittens so that they can grow up and find their forever homes.
