A man who was grieving the loss of his beloved pet dog got the best surprise from his family. A video that has gone viral on social media shows a blindfolded man waiting for his gift to be revealed. He had lost his pet dog a few days back and was coping with the loss when his family decided to surprise him with something which would make him feel better again.
His family bought him another dog as a surprise gift and this man couldn’t be happier. Losing a pet is like losing a part of oneself, because we share countless moments together with them. However, this gift, perhaps, made him feel better. His family got a puppy for him and when his blindfold was finally removed, he broke down. His family consoled him and the man gave the doggo a big hug.

The video triggered numerous reactions. “If when my dog passes, don’t get me another dog, especially from a breeder. I’d rather rescue one that needs a home after I’ve had time to grieve my life long pal,” a user wrote.
“When I lost my Black Lab Christmas, he passed away because of anemia, I was exactly like this man and my late father, mother and my gf went and brought me back another black Lab and he has helped me a lot,” another user wrote.

I’m sorry, I just don’t like these videos. I’ve had a dog pass away, it was a very traumatic experience for me. Having this filmed when your so vulnerable, to me, is a violation of family trust. Not everything should be for the views.
