Looking for a home: Adoptable pets in Lane County – The Register-Guard

Looking for a home: Adoptable pets in Lane County – The Register-Guard

Ernie is a sweet and gentle young orange tabby male kitty, not quite 2 years old. He is bonded with beautiful black panther female kitty Satyn, who is the same age.
They’re a bit shy with strangers, but once they know you, they are loving, affectionate and playful, and make wonderful and loyal companions. They are good with gentle dogs and quiet older kids, and would be OK with another non-dominant cat.
They are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, and in excellent health. Ernie and Satyn must be adopted as a pair.
To meet them, call 541-225-4955, option 1, or visit catrescues.org.
Meet our most stylish bonded pair, Maple (male) and Professor (female)! These two best friends are looking to be adopted together.
They are 2-year-old Lionhead rabbits, which mean they have long fluffy tan fur that requires daily brushing. They love to hop around and cuddle with each other when they are not being pet. They can be shy at first, but once they warm up to you they enjoy being handled.
These two are working on being litterbox trained, are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccines and needing an inside-only home.
Maple weighs 2.60 pounds and Professor weighs 4 pounds. Maple is on a special diet to help her gain some weight.
If you don’t know much about rabbits but think these two would be a good fit, our team can provide plenty of resources to help you get started.

Athea was brought to the Oregon Coast Humane Society after having a litter of puppies. She’s about 2 years old and loves everyone she meets.
She can be dog-selective, but has a lot of fun here with her dog friends Pooka and Tater. We’d love to see this sweet young lady find her forever home!
Stop by the shelter or fill out an application at oregoncoasthumanesociety.org if you’d like to add this sweet girl to your family.
Editor’s note: The weekly “Looking for a Home” feature will be moving to Friday print editions starting Friday, March 11.
