Grove City October Events – The Columbus Dispatch

Fall is in the air and events are happening in Grove City. Join Grove City partners for events and activities throughout the fall. For more information about the following events, go to grovecityohio.gov unless otherwise noted.
The annual Minion Hunt returns. Seek out costumed Minions hidden in the Grove City Town Center. Find all 10 and turn in your card for a fun prize. Grove City Town Center. Learn more at grovecityohio.gov. The Visit Grove City Pumpkin and Pizza treks are underway. Stop at Visit Grove City, 3995 Broadway, to pick up a “Trek Guide” and enjoy adventures to local businesses for a limited edition tote or T-shirt.
Celebrate fall at Autumn Adventures with friends and family at a community-wide celebration while enjoying the nice weather while it lasts. Join Grove City Parks and Recreation and local partners that include businesses and community groups for a weekend filled with family-friendly activities, fun crafts, outdoor games, live entertainment and dining and shopping specials. Inaugural Pride Weekend: Pride in Grove City is hosting a block party, passport events and more to support the diversity in the community in various locations. Learn more at prideingc.org.
Enjoy Friday evenings, 4-9 p.m., at the Heart of Grove City Food Trucks & Shop Hop. Travel on culinary adventures and enjoy specials from great establishments while you relax in the Town Center. Learn more at heartofgrovecity.org.
“Murder on the Orient Express”: A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. Showtimes are set for 7:30 p.m. Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays at the LTOB, 3981 Broadway in Grove City’s Town Center. Learn more at ltob.org.
Grove City Community Club Fall Harvest Market: Get ready for fall, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the Grove City Community Club Fall Harvest Market in historic Grove City Town Center. K-9 Rescue Dog Walk/Run: Walkers, runners and their canine friends are encouraged to participate in the free, K-9 Rescue Dog Walk/Run, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Breck Community Park, 3005 Demorest Road. Water stations are available along the route. Go to tedberryevents.com for additional information.
Old-Time Harvest Day: Step back in time and enjoy fall traditions, music and community as it was in Ohio during the mid-1800s from noon to 4 p.m. during the Old-Time Harvest Day at Century Village in Fryer Park, 4185 Orders Road. The Southwest Franklin County Historical Society and the city of Grove City provide an opportunity for families to connect with the community’s past.
Evans Center Health Fair: Join the Evens Center staff and health-care representatives at the Evans Center Health Fair, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 4330 Dudley Ave. Meet with mental-health agencies, Central Ohio Office on Aging, the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, Medicare insurance providers and more. Visit Grove City Micro Events: Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., during October, drop in to Visit Grove City, 3995 Broadway, for Tea Time Adventures with Alice in Wonderland, enjoy crafts and activities with Super Heroes, experience the Spooktacular Dog Selfie event and encounter the Día de los Muertos “Day of The Dead” food celebration. The final 2022 Grove City Fitness in the Park, is 9:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy physical activity and healthful lifestyles with the Grove City YMCA, Mount Carmel and Grove City Parks and Recreation for a BodyPump class. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to join at in Town Center Park, 3359 Park St.

Chamber Foundation Fundraiser: The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce annual fundraiser gala event, 6:30-10:30, raises funds for local scholarships. Beggars’ Night: The traditional Trick-or-Treat/Beggars’ Night is 6 to 8 p.m. rain or shine. Residents who choose to distribute treats should turn on their porch lights during this time. Learn more at grovecityohio.gov.
