The University of Arizona presents: “Dogs ‘N Denim: a Fashion Show!”
This charitable dog fashion show benefits the Fashion Industry Science and Technology program at the University of Arizona’s Norton School of Human Ecology.
This unique fashion event will highlight the talents of the fashion students in the new FITS major. This is a service-learning project that involves designing, sewing and sustainability. This year’s theme is the “Mutt Gala.” Through sustainability practices at the University of Arizona, fashion students have designed and crafted capes from used denim and other donated materials. The capes will be sold in a silent auction benefiting the FITS major. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the “Cutting Edge” Sewing Club and the Pre-Veterinary Club at the University of Arizona.
The Dogs ‘N Denim fashion show is free for general admission and VIP seating can be purchased for $10 at the Eventbrite link below. Only cashless payments accepted at this event.
All dogs and people are welcome! Please make sure all dogs are on a leash.
