CELINE Launches Dog Collection Featuring Hedi Slimane's Pet Elvis – Highsnobiety
Gone are the days of boring pet accessories, because CELINE has just launched a collection of dog accessories.
Originally designed by Hedi Slimane himself for his own dog Elvis, the accessories are all crafted from CELINE’s signature leather and feature designs like the iconic Triomphe canvas, and smooth calfskin.
Of course, it is only right that Elvis is also the star of the campaign.
As a dog owner myself, there’s nothing that gets me more excited than spoiling them, whether it is through treats or new toys. As a result, CELINE’s Triomphe logo has also been reimagined into a chew toy.
The full range features a selection of leather collars complete with CELINE-branded hardware, accompanying leads, food and water bowls, a small leather pouch for poo bags, as well as bags branded with “DOG” or “CAT.” Basically, it is everything you need, just a little more luxe than from your average pet store.
Luxury dog fashion is a world of its own, and plenty of fashion giants have released their own collections for our four-legged friends. I guess it makes sense that if you’re dressing in head-to-toe designer, your pets need to dress the part, as well.
The collection will launch early June, and will be available both in-store as well as online. So, get ready to spoil your pet with a new, high fashion collar.
