Brutus Broth expands Midwest distribution – Pet Food Processing
OWINGS, MD. — Pet nutrition company, Brutus Broth, has expanded its distribution with the addition of 300 retail stores in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. The new retailers include Meijer Grocery, Buehler’s Fresh Food, Dorothy Lane and others.
“The last few years have been ones of steady and significant growth for the business,” said Sue Delegan, chief executive officer, Brutus Broth. “The surge in adoptions throughout the pandemic presented us with amazing partnership opportunities for Brutus Broth to help even more dogs (and the humans that love them) live happy, healthy lives.”
According to the brand, the addition of the new retailers marks a milestone and increases its presence to more than 4,500 retail stores. Brutus Broth is also widely available in other major Midwest retailers, grocery chains and pet shops, including Target, Petco, Jewel Osco, Woodmans, Giant Eagle, Cosentinos, Kimberton Whole Foods and Straubs.

Founded in 2017, Brutus Broth is a family-owned business dedicated to enhancing dogs’ diets, offering bone broth and bone broth biscuits for dogs. The brand has been steadily expanding distribution since its founding. In 2020, Brutus Broth expanded its presence in the East Coast as well as its FDM distribution.
