Every week we will introduce you to some of the most adorable, adoptable pets available from our partner shelters Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter, Tri-County Humane Society, Pet Haven of MN, Hawk Creek Animal Shelter, Underdog Rescue, MN, Midwest Animal Rescue & Services and Ruff Start Rescue. Heart of Minnesota Animal Center – Conrad
Hi, I’m Conrad and I so want a family to love me and teach me how to be part of a family. I’m a bit timid and shy, so it may take me some time to learn to trust & be brave, but I just need the right friend. I am a little shy, but I am sure the right family will bring me out of my shell.

Ruff Start Dog & Cat Rescue – Streak
Streak is a two-year-old Calico mix. She has beautiful coloring, and her foster says everyone who meets her comments on her gorgeous coat. Streak is socially friendly with all people and other cats, but a bit apprehensive about dogs. She loves her people, and she loves to cuddle up for affection. Streak is a bit of a princess about eating.

Hawk Creek Animal Shelter – Jazlyn
When you think of that friend in your life that is goofy, makes you smile, and is loyal, Jazlyn will mirror that person. She is a 9-month-old female Pitbull mix that gives you an adorable head tilt when you talk to her. When Jazlyn wants something, she will sass you with a “warble” a yodel/bark type sound.
She has a unique gait because her knees will benefit from having surgery to help keep them in place. When Jazlyn is overstimulated, she is mouthy and will need training and appropriate outlets to help manage her energy.
Historically, she likes other canine friends and would probably appreciate having a housemate. During her downtime, this girl will sit next to you, gazing lovingly at you.

Midwest Animal Rescue & Services (MARS) – Enya
Enya is a little shy but good with kids and other dogs, however she is afraid of cats. She was left at a rural Oklahoma shelter that was out of space. We believe Enya will do best in a mellow home with another dog that she can bond with. She walks ok on leash but is a bit afraid to use stairs still.
A fenced yard would be great for her. Given some time to acclimate she will start coming out of her shell and show you her true beauty and personality.

Tri-County Animal Shelter – Theo
Theo is a very social singleton guinea pig who’s looking for a home! This piggie is overweight at 3 pounds; he needs less treats and more enrichment!
Theo is very friendly and loves attention and cuddles. Pigs are very vocal creatures and love to squeal, chirp, squeak, and whistle! Talk to a TCHS staff member about proper guinea pig care.

Underdog Pet Rescue of MN – Maddox
Hi I’m Maddox! I’m a handsome boy who adores hugs and kisses and I make sure I give you kisses right back so you know I love you too. When I’m not being the sweetest pup ever I enjoy playing with toys and wrestling with my siblings. I’m ready to learn all the puppy basics and I hope you’ll be by my side! I can go home 1/21/23.
I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 – 4 hours. Pet Haven of Minnesota – Esme
Hi, my name Esme. I’m 2 years old and looking for my forever home. Before I came to the Twin Cities, I lived outside in northern Minnesota where I had two litters of kittens and had to fend for myself. It was a really hard life. Eventually, someone finally helped me and took me to a shelter. Now I have no interest in being outside or even going near a door because I’ve decided that being an indoor cat is the life for me.
I love affection! If you’re reading a book or sitting on the couch watching TV, I’d like to lay on your lap and take a nap. In fact, that’s one of my favorite things to do. I also love to play. Wand toys with feathers are my favorite.
