This week on Adopt-A-Pet, we will be featuring a pet from each of our five partnering organizations. Meet Nova from Paws4ever, Frankie from Orange County Animal Services, Anna from The Goathouse Animal Refuge, Turtle from Independent Animal Rescue, and Tia from Cat Tales Cat Cafe!
“Nova is a beautiful calico gal who has been looking for a home for a few months now. She is affectionate and loves soft strokes on her head and back. Her favorite thing is to watch people and birds out the front window from her cat tower perch. Nova asks your undivided attention without another cat in the house. Her adoption fee is waived, and she is ready to come home with you today! Visit Nova | Paws4Ever to learn more about Nova and fill out an application for her adoption.”

“Frankie is a 1.5 year old lab pitt mix. He acts like a big goofy puppy and loves a good butt scratch and cuddles. Frankie is great at learning commands and is super treat motivated so he will be easy to train! He is a very cuddly boy and would love a family to make his own! He’s heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered and ready for his family!”

“Anna is special and rare. Not only because she’s a pirate kitty, but because of her coat: did you know most gingers are male? Anna will need a completely indoor environment, and she is certainly no pushover: you must woo her patiently. Sit with Anna and start a conversation. Add a little soft music, a few toys, and a little time… and she will know she is loved forever. Could you be Anna’s true love?”

“Meet Turtle from Independent Animal Rescue!
Turtle is the best boy! If you are looking for a laid back, sweet, silly cat that loves snuggling and lounging this is your guy.
Turtle made his way to IAR by way of a longtime volunteer. Unfortunately Turtle was discarded by his prior owner outside, he made his way to a feral colony for food and other kitty friends. He was discovered there as a newbie by the colonies caretaker who recognized he was in fact no feral cat.
Turtle is the most excellent door greeter and makes sure to introduce himself to everyone he meets. Turtle has green eyes and a very silky soft coat with a gorgeous tabby pattern and cute white feet. He would do best in an adult home only or one with older kiddos are are laid back. He likes other kitties too and has been known to welcome many newcomers to the rescue.
Favorite things: lounging in the sun, window watching, snacks, play time, and snuggles with soft pets.”

“Meet Tia from Cat Tales Cat Cafe!
There is not a sweeter soul than Tia! This darling, petite 1 year old girl is a doll. She is a tiny thing and pure love. She adores the other cats and will gently lean in to head bump any kitty that comes close to her. She is adorable!
Tia is a little sensitive but will be a lovely companion in a quiet-ish home. We really want her to have a kitty friend for her to love on. She is easy peasy and the cutest lil thing!
Make an appointment to meet miss Tia and the other kitties at Cat Tales Cat Cafe!”
