Public Health Seeks Owner of Dog That Bit Person in Watkins Glen – Finger Lakes Daily News
Schuyler County Public Health is attempting to locate a dog that bit a person and a dog on December 15th at approximately 6 p.m., on Franklin Street in front of the Watkins Glen Police Department. The dog is described as a brown bulldog or pit bulldog that was being walked on a leash. The person walking the dog was a young female, probably in her 20s.
If the dog can be located, Public Health says it can avoid rabies post-exposure treatment for the person who was bitten.

Public Health asks residents to keep their pets up-to-date on their rabies vaccinations and do not approach stray or wild animals. If you experience an animal bite, call Schuyler County Public Health at 607-535-8140 immediately.
