The 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 event will be held at The HIVE at 1221 Harter Ave. in Woodland. The fashion show will begin at 4:30 p.m. and guests are welcome to bring their pets in an outfit to compete for “best of” in various categories, according to the release.

Woodland’s 33rd Stroll Through History is this Saturday and promises to be a “change from our traditional mix of historic styles,” according to its website.
“Woodland’s treasury of unique homes has continued beyond Victorians or Craftsman bungalows to include a fine selection of ‘mid-century modern,’” the event’s website stated. “And here’s an astonishing fact. The mid-century modern style is over 70 years old!”
The website explained that one of the first homes built in this style in the city was built in 1954 for Marietta and Phil Leiser.
“So this year, the stroll offers five homes that are all unique expressions of a mid-century modern style that began in the late 1940s and is still called modern today, more than 70 years later,” the website added.
