Dolly Parton releasing range of canine clothing and bedding called Doggy Parton – The US Sun

COUNTRY music star Dolly Parton is bringing out a canine clothing and furniture range called Doggy Parton.
The American singer, 76, has also designed hair accessories for pampered pooches.
Dolly registered the trademark in the US and the UK and insiders say she is planning to launch the brand later this year.
A source said: “Dolly is so passionate about pooches — and her Doggy Parton range proves that.
“She’s personally overseen the designs, which includes scarves, hats, raincoats and skirts for canines, along with hair accessories.
“There is also a full bedding range and furniture. It’s very Dolly. She’s really proud of it.”
Dolly — who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide including hits Nine To Five and Islands In The Stream — has been a lifelong dog lover and owns a number of them.
During the height of her success in the late Seventies, she credited her Boston Terrier Popeye for saving her when she considered taking her own life following a bad break-up.
And after Dolly’s performance on the Pyramid Stage at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival, she offered to rehome a pet dog that had been left behind.
The mutt was later reunited with its owners.
Dolly said at the time: “I was kind of disappointed. I was planning to take her home and name her Glassie for Glastonbury.”
Dolly is also godmother to Instagram sensation, French Bulldog Billy The Kid.
