12 new pets are now available as part of the new Adopt Me Japan Egg update going live today in Roblox.
As revealed by the team earlier this week, there will be new pets to unlock, items to check out, and decorations to be made.
Here’s everything we know so far about today’s Adopt Me Japan Egg Update across all platforms.
The Adopt Me Japan Egg update is rolling out today in Roblox and contains a number of exciting changes for the game.
To unlock all the latest pets that have been added to the game on September 8, fans will want to track down the Gumball Machine. This will be where gamers can purchase one of the new Japan Eggs for 750 Bucks, with different rarity levels available.
For those who are lucky to unlock a legendary egg, they will get a chance to collect the Legendary Baku and Manekineko Cat. There’s only a 5 per cent chance of finding either of these in the new Japan Eggs, but with plenty of other pets included, it will still be worth checking out.

Ultra-rare pets included in this egg include the Trapdoor Snail, Red Crown Crane and the Spider Crab. Ultra-rare pets have a 20 per cent chance of being dropped, with the rare pets including the Ibis, Koi Carp and the Leopard Cat.
Dropping down to Uncommon pets, there are the Rhino Beetle and the Tanuki. The most common pets will be the Dugong and Mole. To help players level up their new pets, Adopt Me is hosting a special Double Bucks and Aging weekend running from September 9 to September 12.
It should also be noted that today was the last day that the Woodland Eggs would be available, meaning that these pets are currently off the shelf whilst using the gumball machine. Fans are regularly warned about scams connected to in-game currency on the Roblox platform, with the Adopt Me telling fans via its FAQ page:
“Adopt Me! does not give out free items or bucks through our support form; however, we occasionally do giveaways on our social media pages, so make sure to follow us to be kept in the loop!
“Do not participate in any unofficial giveaways that ask for personal information. Adopt Me giveaways will NEVER require any personal information, such as your Roblox password or account PIN. Uplift Games/Adopt Me Staff will also never DM you for anything relating to winning/entering a giveaway, with all winners being announced on our social media pages.”
