This three-day event will run from Friday through Sunday at the non-profit organization’s Berks County and Lancaster County adoption centers. It’s being sponsored by Silverbox Creative Studios.
The no-fee adoptions include 30-day adoption health supplement, spaying or neutering prior to adoption, vaccinations (including current rabies vaccination), de-worming medication, flea treatment, microchipping and chip registration, and a one-pound bag of Science Diet pet food.

Humane Pennsylvania is also seeking donations of dry dog and cat food to help stock Spike’s Pet Pantry’s shelves ahead of the winter months to keep pets fed throughout the community.
Adopters wishing to provide a good home for shelter animals are encouraged to visit the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to go through Humane Pennsylvania’s adoption screening process, and approval is not guaranteed.
On Sunday will be a Fall Flea Market at the Reading site from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A food truck will be on hand and local vendors will be selling crafts, vintage items and holiday gifts.
