Cincinnati Animal Care shelter now offering $10 adoptions – The Cincinnati Enquirer

Starting today, you can adopt a pet for $10, thanks to a new promotion at the Cincinnati Animal Care shelter.
During the organization’s Empty the Shelters promotion, which is sponsored by the Bissell Pet Foundation, all cats over 6 months old and dogs over 6 months and at least 25 pounds can be adopted for $10.
The promotion runs now through July 31. The no-kill animal shelter, located at 3949 Colerain Ave., is open daily from 1 to 6 p.m.

Last month, Cincinnati Animal Care reached “Code Red” capacity and said it had negative 71 kennels available. 
In Facebook posts over the weekend, the shelter said it has taken in 100 dogs so far this month and even more cats, and is now back at “Code Red” level.
