Meet Mcdouble, Gidget, and Cricket, this week’s Pets of the Week in the San Gabriel Valley and Whittier areas.
Mcdouble, No. A503930, is shy, sweet and looking for a forever home
Three-year-old Mcdouble is a sweet dog who just wants to hang out with you and relax. Mcdouble enjoys petting and will often lean into you or give soft eye contact to ask for more attention. Mcdouble does best when he has a little bit of time to get to know new people, but with some patience (and delicious treats), this pup shows his affectionate side.
The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
View photos of adoptable pets and schedule an adoption appointment on the website. Adoptions are by appointment only, and new adoption appointments are available at 10 a.m. Sundays and Wednesdays. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. pasadenahumane.org
Gidget, No. A504285, is an angel you’ll adore
Six-year-old Gidget is a sweet and calm cat in search of her loving forever home. This beautiful girl loves being petted, and even allows baths and brushing. Gidget has gotten along with other cats before and would be a wonderful addition to your family.
The adoption fee for cats is $100. All cat adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.

Spunky Cricket has a big personality
Cricket is very affectionate, friendly, full of spunk and quite playful. She is a little smarty-pants, too, being a very alert and intelligent kitty. She loves to talk to you and tell you what’s on her mind. She enjoys chasing little bouncy balls, and then will jump into a cat tree and play a game, “Catch me if you can, come pet me, while I squirm around happy as a clam, just soaking up your love and attention.”
She can be a little rascal at times but in a cute way. Cricket has a sleek, athletic body, like a mini panther, with her shiny and silky black fur. She does fine with other cats, but she loves to be No. 1. However, she will settle in, just as she has with her fellow felines at Lifeline for Pets.
Cricket is spayed, healthy, current on vaccines and microchipped. Find the adoption application, more adorable pics, and a video of Cricket on the website. Submit your application today. For more information, 626-676-9505. Email: info@lifelinefor pets.org. www.lifelineforpets.org/
