Dog-Friendly Fido Fest Returns With Fashion Show, Dog Selfies & More – WYDaily
JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Parks and Recreation‘s annual Fido Fest returns this year with family-friendly and dog-friendly activities.
Co-sponsored by Heritage Humane Society, this year’s Fido Fest will include contests such as Best Trick and a Fido Fashion Show.
New this year is “Photo Row,” where guests can bring their pups and their cameras for dog selfies. A variety of backdrops and costumes will be provided.
Also new, in partnership with the James City County Police Department, is “The Fast and the Furry-est,” a radar clock for attendees to test their dog’s running speed.
Food, merchandise, and community vendors will also be onsite.
Fido Fest will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Rd.
The event is $5 per car.
