Hanover annual Flea Market
Hanover Center Fire Department Grounds, 11919 Hanover Road, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Outside rain or shine. Auto arts, farm items, household, crafts, new and used items. All welcome. Spaces 15 by 30 feet for $25. No reservations. First come, first serve Vendor set-up 6 to 7:30 a.m. No tear down before 3 p.m.
Brocton Central School Alumni Association golf tournament and Weiners barbecue
Members of the public are welcome to participate in these activities to fund student scholarships. The golf tournament begins at 8 a.m. and costs $70 per golfer. For details and pre-registration, call Jon Esperson at 716 467-8328. The drive-through barbecue is from 4 p.m. until sold out. It includes Weidner’s chicken and ribs, buttered spuds, coleslaw, roll and butter with a cookie. Tickets are $18. Pre-sale is recommended. Call Kathy Peters at 716 679-5814.
Fredonia Farmers Market
The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through October on Church Street, downtown Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA. A number of vendors accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition checks and WIC vegetables and fruits checks.
Sinclairville’s Village Yard Sales
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sinclairville Free Library will also participate.
Dunkirk Flea Market

Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market
Moore Park, center of Westfield, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Locally grown produce, meats, baked goods, food products, craft items and more. Prepared foods suitable for breakfast and lunch and hot and cold beverages are also available. The Westfield Flea, an antiques and vintage market, is on the other side of the park.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours
The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. One must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a pet. The Cat’s Meow Boutique will be open for purchases by the public. For details, call 716 672-1991.
Trinity United Church of Christ free community meal
The Trinity United Church, located at Erie Avenue and Park Street, Gowanda, will host a take-out only free community meal at the Park Street entrance from 4 to 6 p.m. The menu includes hot dogs (one or two), baked beans, chis, pickle and cookies. Free will donations are appreciated but not necessary. Drive East Main to Railroad Avenue and then down Park Street, following the signs, or walk up.
Busti Gazebo Concert
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair. Tonight features Pat Cook performing as Patsy Cline and other famous female country artists, accompanied by George with the music.

1891 Fredonia Opera House Cinema Series
The 1891 Fredonia Opera House presents “Downton Abbey: A New Era,” 7:30 p.m. The beloved Crawleys and their intrepid staff prepare for a visit from the King and Queen of England. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6.50 for Opera House members/seniors, $5 for students, At this time, Masks are no longer required at Fredonia Opera House events, but all patrons are encouraged to wear masks while in the venue, and to socially distance when possible. Masks are available in the lobby and in the box office if needed.

Audubon Sunday Storytime
Children ages 2 to 8 and their caregivers are invited to a free nature-based storytime at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday admission is also free. Chautauqua County Watershed Conservancy nature walk
David and Margaret Naetzker Preserve, Route 474, Ashville, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Leader: Twan Leenders, who will discuss breeding birds, bird identification and importance of water quality.
